Ingrid is a Creative Director, Photographer and Director from South Africa. A creative who creates a wonderland of her own. Known fondly as the "Queen Of Colour" Ingrid's expressive use and love of colour has become her signature, synonymous with her work. Her distinct visionary style of colourful, bold storytelling and emotional “caught in the moment” lifestyle imagery has appeared on magazine covers, editorials, billboards, TVC and motion campaigns and advertising projects for clients globally.


Taking Africa to the world! Ingrid’s travels in and around Africa have inspired her passion in her quest for paving the way for African Design and creating an international platform to showcase African talent and bring attention to diversity in fashion.

  • First South African photographer featured in esteemed publications like Fubitz (French magazine) and The Phoblographer (NYC).

  • Career highlight with a feature in the prestigious German Design publication, Page Magazine.

  • Regular cover contributor to Hedonist Magazine in London, with 3 covers and multiple features in the past 2 years.

  • Main contributor to the collectible United Maverick Book, now in its fifth generation. 

  • Ingrid's work graced the covers of various American publications, including Solice, which created a collectible book with her images on the covers and the book cover box.

  • Handpicked by the United Nations and Sky News for a campaign on vaccine equality.

  • Selected by The Schleswig-Holstein State Museum for a humanitarian project, exhibited at Schloss Gottorf, Germany.

  • Featured in Pantone's official colour trend book with her images inspiring a new Pantone colour called Afro Black.

  • Featured on Business Insider and MSN worldwide, part of Nikon's Top 100 Global Photographers, and is a Profoto Ambassador.

  • Appeared on the Netflix series "Model" in the Fairytale's and Fantasy beauty episode.

  • First South African artist exhibited at VEEPEE Contemporary Gallery in Paris during President Macron's inauguration week.

Ingrid’s work has become synonymous with shooting large format print “out of home“ media and motion for key-campaigns.
